Why is oil so helpful to treat toxic accumulation and help candida

Attending the Oil Pulling & Oil Swishing Forum will give you plenty of information on how to. Here are the basics (cut and paste from the forum):

Pour a spoonful of oil and gargle for 10 to 20 minutes. DO NOT SWALLOW it is full of toxins, rince with salty water then brush with baking soda. Do this twice a day to pull out toxins.

WHICH OIL SHOULD I USE?
Major recommendation is that whatever plant oil you choose, you use cold-pressed, extra virgin oil packaged in a glass bottle.
For candida, coconut oil will have the benefit of killing the culprit as well as helping with the detox.

Originally, OP'ers learned sesame and sunflower were the two oils suggested by Dr. Karach and Lt. Col. Rao. However, people from the forum have experimented with many different ones and from coconut oil to olive oil... all of them work well. The idea is to rotate them to get the specific beneficial factor of each of them

WHY DOES IT WORK?

Oil pulling does not kill bacteria (unless you use an oil with antifungal/antibiotic property like coconut oil). Have you ever opened a container of rancid oil? The rancidity is caused by bacteria.

The theory with regard to OSwishing is that there is a vein (not an artery) that runs under your tongue. By swishing oil around in your mouth for 20 minutes (the time that it takes to fully circulate the blood throughout the entire circulatory system), OIL-SOLUABLE toxins are absorbed through the vein and discarded when we're done with our pull and spit the oil out.

The seasalt water rinse following the pull is what kills bacteria, along with following up with a NON-flouridated cleanser: 100% pure olive oil; 100% pure baking soda; and the like.

Baking soda generates a ph that is not adequate for candida and reduces its capacity to proliferate.
