Many times we either see or become aware of certain things that go on around us; as we stop look and listen... HUH!! But just as soon we can miss it all; if we don't pay attention!!

I have always had an inquisitive mind; and tend to pay attention...  Except for certain things my wife says... Maybe she is right!!

It takes all of our facilities to keep up with life and to learn what we should do...  Now from time to time it behooves us to stop and smell the flowers as it were... Things go on with or without our  support or activity...  This is where paying attention comes in handy...

Too many people end up in dire straights mainly because they did not pay attention...   The key message here is to learn to always take time to see where you are and what is happening...

In the words of Kenny Rogers Song; The Gambler  "You have got to know when to hold them, and know when to fold them...   know when to walk away and know when to run...  There will be time enough for counting when the dealing is done..."   It goes something like that from the best I remember, but you get the picture...  Life is like playing cards; you just have to play with the cards you were dealt...
