Many times the road becomes difficult, but we must press on... by kerminator .....

It is not the road that should decide our path it is the final destination(s).. Getting there is the adventure !!

As  we go back and forth on this road of life...  Each of us will have adventures along the way...  This is what life is about folks... The trip!! DUH!!

Lets step back to south Georgia, in my younger years, during the summer between the 8th grade going into high school in the ninth grade @ SPHS... Well my younger brother and I spent the entire summer, working out on the farm...

Learned a lot about cotton, corn, hogs, peanuts, tobacco, and girls....  Well there was a lot to do on the farm; sunup to sundown...  Learned to really drive tractors, and pickups...  Did a lot of fishing, learned to shoot firearms, some coon hunting and most important there was girls...  Did not understand much about girls, but I some how knew they were important in my life... { Of course I still do not know much about females, but after several years married, several close female friends, and now with grand daughters it is beginning to become clearer..}  [ BTW these close female friends does not mean that there  was any sexua| relations ; just a few hugs now and then]

One thing we got to do each week was to pick and hang the tobacco, in high rise barns...  There were poles all the way across the barn from end to end parallel spaced about every four feet... It was on these poles that we would have to climb and stand, passing the tied tobacco on three foot sticks....  Of course you started at the top and passed the sticks up one at a time until that row was full...   Well most of us were young teens, and mixed evenly male - female...  Well it is hot down in Dixie in the summer, so we all had shorts...   Most of the girls, would tie their shirts up off their hips, so as to expose their midsections...  Well that was fine a view for a fourteen year old boy...   Looking up, during the passing of the sticks up into the barn would give glances of these young ladies, wide leg shorts, and of course, many times bra less open shirt views...  My oh my did that start the Ole heart to pumping and some times it got harder... to pass the sticks of tobacco, if you know what I mean...  Things seemed go that way in life....  Learned a lot that summer...

Yes sir; it was tobacco and girls, cotton and girls, tractors and girls, fishing and girls, hunting and girls, and so it was down in Dixie that summer so long ago....   Would not trade the experiences for the world, folks...   See ya!!
