Why I started Brewing My Own Anti-Candida Probiotics

Last year, I realized that the Probiotic supplements as they are currently produced and supplied simply aren't "powerful" enough to provide sufficient probiotics to effectively "repopulate" my intestines with friendly flora.

IHMO there are two reasons for this. The enteric coated capsules tend pass completely through the diestive tract without ever releasing their "payload". The standard gelcaps are completely digested too soon and the tiny payload is all but destroyed in the stomach and never makes it to the lower intestines.

It finally dawned on me that I would have to literally take full jar-fulls of supplement capsules on a daily basis to have any impact on after-effects of candidiasis.

I was willing to actually consume that much probiotic supplements, but it was financially beyond my means. Then a friend of mine from Poland suggested that I "grow" my own probiotic supplements into the quantum amounts that I needed to effectively repopulate my intestines with friendly flora.

The idea was simple and the execution was even easier... I simply added 3 capsules each of the probiotic supplements to a quart of whole milk, and 24 hours later I had my own home made fizzy tangy Kefir drink, teeming with billions, trillions, quintillions, gazillions of friendly flora... A cup or glass full of my home brew was able to provide me with more than enough probiotic micro-flora to repopulate my intestines.

Thusly, I have started adding Probiotic supplements like Jarrow-Dophilus, Bifidus Balance, and Jarrow Sacchromyces Boulardii to "beef-up" and extend the range of probiotic micro-flora.

As many of you know who've followed my recovery from Candidiasis over the last 13 months, I've refined the concept with yoghurt and live grain kefir...

Frankly it doesn't matter what you use... those bugs will live and grow on soy milk, almond milk, cow's milk, goat's milk, powdered milk, organic milk, store bought milk, etc.. they don't care as long is there's some kind of sugar for them to feed on...

Why don't you play "mad scientist" for a few days, brew your own home made yoghurt or kefir and see if there's an improvement...

All the best,

TG
