How Long? by vibr8 .....

sipping soy latte while sharing what soothes my humble yet wise soul

The Indigo Girls sing a song, Galileo, and a line in the song queries: "How long 'til my soul gets it right?" And that's just what I'm wondering today.

The soul finds its own path, distinct from the mind, separate entirely from self will. That's my theory, anyway.

To the extent that my superconscious can direct my soul, right now I would not know what directions to set forth.

In the timeless present moment, though, who I think I am is content.

Not worried about infinitesimal details of every single morsel I eat or drink, for it's really just a way of getting and converting energy into useful fuel for my human motion. Enjoying a nice soy coconut mocha latte and listening to the wind outside west window.

"How long 'til we reach the highest light?" The Indigo Girls sing...

Indeed, how long? Could it be that in every moment of our human lives on earth there is the potential to reach the highest light? Think about it. There is infinite potential in the eternal present. For those of you who instantly think of socioeconomic limitations, consider the people of India, many of whom find infinite light within amid extreme poverty. What we have materially ultimately does not matter in the realm of infinite light. In fact, the heaviness of the material world can get in the way of reaching the highest light.

I'm just one human putting forth these words. One sometimes struggling, humble, creative, sometimes confused, human; currently energized by strong soy espresso drink. What wisdom do I have?

Each human has access to infinite wisdom.

It's as simple as walking through a doorway to find it.

My love to all of you,
vibr8

"How long
(till my soul gets it right)
[til we reach the highest light]
How long
(till my soul gets it right)
[til we reach the highest light]
How long" ~~Indigo Girls
