Perception of Bob by munificent .....

Bob was a politican for years...and see how he transformed...His politics run towards freedom which according to an old document written a couple hundred years ago, before Communists, and Terrorists, proclaimed freedom for all...I guess if one is a transformed purist..this must mean freedom for Communists and Terroists for us to experience our more peaceful freedom. What a concept.

COMMENT: Perception Is Everything.

Dear A-Letter Reader:
As the saying goes, 'perception is everything'.

Apparently a buyers own perception of a product plays a key role in
their evaluation. Studies show that personal notions of the trust-
worthiness of a product or service influences evaluations, even when
they perceive high risk in that product.

I make this observation because a lot of people have a jaundiced view of
'offshore' and what it means. I know, because I get such questions
wherever I go. Is 'going offshore' legal? Is it safe? Is it dangerous?
And that perennial repeat - 'Will it attract IRS attention to me if I go
offshore?'

Yes, yes, no, and not necessarily - in that order.

With the many controversies swirling around every aspect of the offshore
world -- haven blacklists, tax evasion charges, US tax fleeing
corporations, political posturing, EU, OECD, FATF demands -- we tend to
lose sight of the many real, legal benefits that do lie offshore.

That attractive offshore benefits list includes:
1) greatly expanded investment and profit opportunities;
2) far greater privacy than is now available in most major nations;
3) less government interference, less taxes and deferred taxation;
4) much stronger asset protection.

Good estate planning has always included asset protection with an
offshore component. Assets moved offshore into an asset protection
trust, or held in the name of an international business corporation or
family foundation, insulate trust beneficiaries and foundation owners
from lawsuits, claims, attachments. If problems arise, plaintiffs'
lawyers are very reluctant to sue when a defendant's assets are
offshore. Even if they sue, an advantageous settlement is far more
likely.

The offshore financial solution definitely has been used by many
American medical professionals who have been harassed by multiple
lawsuits, enormous jury awards, and sky-high medical malpractice
premiums. But the same trends threaten other professionals of all
kinds, small business owners and company managers and directors
in many countries.

And then there is the ultimate offshore solution, physical expatriation
and a new residence in another country.

That raises all sorts of questions about which country to choose,
finding a place to live, opening a bank account, taxes, schools, health
care, moving furniture and personal possessions.

The Sovereign Society was created to address all of these offshore
issues for its members. We've done so for over eight years now. If we
can help you, were ready to do so.

That's the way it looks from here.
