VIM-PSI Power by munificent .....

Psi Power of the word VIM and categorical removal of power from us, as humans, by the the dumbing down of meanings of our natural "abilities"...

New Word, New Year- Actually vim is not a new word for hardly any of us- but the original definition is kinda interesting...Here's the usage for today-

Power; force; energy; spirit; activity; vigor.

Gee I've always used both vim and vigor

Here I think is one of the many examples of "dumbing down" Ingo Swann speaks of in his books....MORE human powers are normal and dumbed down in this culture to keep us in harness of the work a day world and in the work a day mind- that's how the money works....or the source of money for those who make bundles in the heirarchy.

So if Vim had the power, force, spirit and energy-that tells me it is a POWERFUL word that would be interesting to explore: Gets out the Bartleby, American Heritage dictionary (Huh? Dro)

wei-
DEFINITION: To go after someting, pursue with vigor, desire, with noun forms meaning force, power. Related to w-ro-. 1. Zero-grade form *w- (< *wi-). vim, violate, violent, from Latin vs, force, with irregular derivatives violre, to treat with force, and violentus, vehement. 2. Suffixed o-grade form *woi()-ty-. gain1; rowen, from Old French, gaaignier, gaignier, to obtain, from Germanic *waithanjan, to hunt, plunder, denominative verb from *wai-thj, “pursuit,” hunting. 3. Suffixed zero-grade form *wi-to- becoming *w-to-. invite, from Latin invtre, to invite (in-, in; see en). (Pokorny 3. ei- 1123

the root word is vis -then wie is the old Latin- why vim isn't just "perky" (one of the thesauras synonyms) anymore it is intention in the largest sense with force and power..to Germatic "hunt and plunder" not just full of vim and vigor but the plunder- life and death. I often do this exercise, have been for at least a decade, when I did a porject on the "power of your word"- and here's what I have found the original meanings of the powers and prowness of humans have been "dumbed down" by these evolving interpertations of civil society- a trend toward powerful words losing their original meaning...

Ingo Swann has a great series of 3 books - Access to Power, on our natural senses and the populice at large not understanding that these attributes or senses (17 I believe)as being part of our "package" as a human- Not just the magician, fakirs, and enlightened ones have these abilities- we all do. Since we do not "culturally" acknowledge that we have these "powers of perceptions" (and more!) we do not use them in a "create your day-what the bleep" way! Since popular psychology has got us in "up our cracks all the time" we don't use and cultivate the power that is ours. WE are powerful-I know those who learned how to use it and they are amazing!

Now to the really important stuff- I put too much water in my coffee maker (or so it seems) and the thing over flowed coffee all over the countertop and there are grounds in my coffee! Now this is what occupies the mind of the human- these little messes in life that have pretty messy visuals seem to catch our attention and intention to "clean it up"

These 2 conversations have nothing to do with one another! Or perhaps a lot more than meets the reading eye !
Its 2006- a year that will open the eyes of this world and others- buckle up...
