Orwellian "Group Think" Is Here Now.

What is "hate speech"? If you ask a thousand people, you'll get a thousand different answers. But one common thread runs through them all: whatever Christians say is defined as hate speech. That really seems to be what it boils down to. Listen to people, watch the news, scan the net, and you'll see endless accusations of hate speech against Christians-- sometimes even by other Christians. Specifically, in our post-modern world, any claim of absolute truth is considered hateful.

You're no longer entitled to have opinions either. Do you think illegal aliens should be called illegal and alien? You're a racist. Think abortion is murdering the innocent for the convenience of the guilty? You hate women. Feel that homosexuality is disgusting and revolting? You're homophobic (but of course, Christian-haters are never called Christophobic). Think the money you earn belongs to you? You're insulting the world's poor. On and on and on...

Freedom of conscience is not a part of the Brave New World Order. We've already lost freedom of speech and pretty much every other freedom guaranteed by our now-shredded Constitution. Speaking of that, it is in all practicality already replaced by a World Constitution, one that of course will be used according to the whims of the world rulers. Individuality is even now considered to be against world peace. Children are being systematically indoctrinated in finding value only in the group, in the "dialectic process" being promoted even in the churches by people who should know better.

We haven't learned a blessed thing from history. Only this time, there's no "new world" to run to, no distant land wherein we can find refuge. But all of this is just as the Bible said it would be, just before Jesus would return. He said, "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." (Luke 21:28)

Escapist? Darn tootin'! Who wouldn't want to escape a global fascist nightmare? That's why we Christians are here, to point to the Way of escape (John 14:6). And this, they say, is hate speech.
