Reputation is what other people think of you, character is what you are when no one else is around... Who are you, friend?

Life is an on going process, we are influenced by and also influence others...  It is this interaction that defines our character and thus ourself...   Will we be bold and active in helping others, or self centered? Do we continually think of what we need or want, and scheme to obtain it at all costs?

{Now we are not talking about the basic needs of everyday life here folks, that is understood and accepted that there are such requirements in life....}

Many people spend much of their life making themselves look good...  {we are not talking about appearance here folks} I have heard and seen people who make decisions based on how it will make them look or appear to others.... Rather than accept the truth and  make the right choice....  I have seen this in relationships with family members, relatives, and so called friends...  Some people will make the decision that does not embarrass them, or make them look bad, so to speak...

I say to heck with how it makes you (me) look let us do the right thing and look out for the child, or the friend, or relative, or stranger....  The truth will still be here long after we have forgotten the so called "make me look good moment"... People are forever finding out about past, deeds and happenings covered up or passed over to make someone look good at that moment...  But the truth will prevail, so lets do what is right folks....   Let your character come out do what is right, to heck with how it makes you look to someone else at the time....    (There is a key principle here folks, think about it...)    

Who are you??   GOD knows and you should live your life like you know it everyday folks... Be true to yourself and help others, forget about most of your wants, and look toward the needs of others...     Think about it folks...  See ya.. On the next blog...
