I did it. NO MORE COFFEE~~~!!!! And there was only a couple of days that were shaky (ok, ok...so they were really shaky). I read last night that if one really wanted to wean off of a heavy caffeine addiction, that one should take weeks to do so.

In retrospect, I think I would have done better with the withdrawal symptoms had I weaned off of it longer. BUT!!!! This morning I was still feeling as though I were coming down with the flu. This evening finds me feeling just great, plus I actually feel a little drowsy tonight, which I haven't felt since I started this farewell to caffeine.YAY ME.

Yesterday was really the worst day, but I just KNOW I will have an easy go of it now on the Master Cleanse. If I can live through quitting coffee, I can thrive on cleansing.

I listened to some weird AM radio station tonight. They were talking about vegetarianism and veganism vs eating mostly raw with some fin fish as protein. Such pontificating. Everyone had a "holier-than-thou" attitude. It was their way or fuggedaboutit. Apparently, one doesn't necessarily lose one's aggresiveness when going vegan. I've never been one to discuss politics or religion, but you can add nutrition to that mix as well. A little tolerance for other people's likes and dislikes certainly goes a long way.

'Nuff said. Live and let live.
