Here's what I
got - it's a meditation in 3 parts:
1) easy pose - make fists with thumbs extended pointing up. Move the thumbs
around in
circles (eyes at third eye). It says 5 min., but you can do it for 31 min.
too. I always did it
for 5.
2) Kirtan kriya with left hand on heart, and right hand, palm forward by
shoulder (like
taking an oath.) Connect fingertips as in kirtan kriya. Whether or not to
chant loud,
whisper or silent wasn't specified. I just did it as I felt. Be sure to use
the "L-shaped"
trajectory of mantra - vibrating each syllable from crown, through head and out
third eye.
11 minutes.
3) (the clincher!) hands holding opposite elbows (forearms are across chest,
relaxed). eyes
focused on top of head. Inhale and silently vibrate "wha", exhale and silently
vibrate
"guru". On the exhale, while vibrating "guru", focus on crown. Next breath,
focus a couple
inches above the crown. Next breath, focus a foot above head. Each successive
breath
focus higher and higher up, until you're focusing way in the sky above head,
then in outer
atmosphere above earth, etc. Then in blue ethers. Then in white light. Then,
still using
the same breath/mantra, bring the focus down step by step.

This meditation is really powerful, and it works! But it takes consistency.
I've taught it a
number of times, and it's always great in a class. Actually, you're inspiring
me to take it
up again! I only did it consistently for a short period and I stopped
immediately after
getting results! And the results stopped too. For some reason, I haven't felt
inclined to go
traveling out of body lately. Anyway, good luck with it, and I'd love to hear
about your
results.
