Recipe for Sadhana after treat-with Yogi tea
Date: 11/6/2005 8:09:40 PM ( 19 y ago)
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter)
1 cup Honey
4 cups water
Above is a recipe that's basic and flexible. Depending on how "old"
the flour is you may have to add more or less. Fresh flour has more
air in it so you'll use less. Add the flour by the spoonful to the
heated ghee. Stir constantly until it darkens and smells toasty (not
burned!).
Meanwhile boil the honey and water together scooping off any foam.
When the flour/ghee mixture is ready add the boiling honey/water in
one continuous pour. Be careful, the mix is explosive. This will puff
up nicely and then stir over low heat until all the water is absorbed
and the mix comes away the sides of the pan or wok. Let cool for at
least a half an hour.
