The ayurvedic concept of Dosha, body and temperament type is an interesting Eastern Concept. I am subscribed to many Kundalini Yoga sources and every so often, such in the case of Numerology, and now Dosha I take "quizzes" just to see .....Curiosity Cat...
I like the Dosha site, and I see they have teas, which I LOVE, and herbal "stuff" which I have a passing interest in....So all in all, I think it a fun and informative site to play on. Many of the foods that appeal to me are not in my pitta category of "stuff" to eat that agrees with Pitta's and some are on the forbidden list" (That means I should eat them tonight!)
After you determine your "type" you are able to see your food requirements and no-no's...very Vedic, and then you can search for other related materials such as how to heal your type, the Rayasana's... Ghandi's interoperation of Bahgavad Gita...and other insights.
I just "got" an intuitive visual of the San Diego Zoo... huh! It is time to go to the Zoo today....(switch in subject matter)....After Church I am going to the San Diego Zoo- one of the best and brightest of zoo's. A very Western Concept~ that of zoo's. Caging beasts, to preserve them...I believe, originally, we were caging beasts just to entertain ourselves with their beauty and originality-but now since we have taken over the earth and moved all the wildness to parts invisible- now we are saving the gene pool for ...what? I wonder, oh well, today I am just going to be a tourist and enjoy our lovely zoo- the monkey's are calling to me-also the apes, and gorilla's.
And I will go to Spanish Village, a community of Artisan's and see what there is to see as far as the Art's go!
Maybe I'll look for animals from the East and get in tune with my other lives in the Eastern culture...Who knows, tooo soon to tell....I'll report back what jewel of wisdom awaited me at The San Diego Zoo!
Pitta Bread Girl at the Zoo: Stay tuned~good advice for anyone!
Oh dear, I am disappointed in the Zoo website, it is so commercial..ugh! Oh but look the Wild Animal Park is having a sale on entrance tickets-only$20.00 I might just take a motor car ride in my new "used" ex-son-in-law-to-be's gift Mercedes and pick up some homegrown fruit and veges on the way to The Wild Animal Park!
I love the freedom of my life and the joy of the company that I do keep. And the joy of my own company!
Thank you!
