Roller coster moods, Wedding Dress Woes and Happy Monday by Ren .....
some notes about my wedding dress and last week

Happy Sunday everyone. It's not exactly a 'woe' but it's a size 6 wedding dress that cannot be altered ((shudder)). I am currently a size 14. The wedding is in June 2006. The dress is GORGEOUS. I'm going to try to upload some pics so you can see it later. It's just beautiful though. It was a bright spot in an otherwise horrible that sucked ass.
So here it is. I am currently about 170 pounds with a waist size of 33.5 inches. I can step into the dress and yes it actually made it up over my butt (that was a surprise). It doesn't zip up obviously but boy does it look great with heels.
I've never thought about having a personal trainer but as soon as I can get $250 I may get the 12-week training packet. I remember when I enlistened in the Air Force how disiplined I was and lost 45 pounds in three and a half months with just running and calisthenics.
I've given myself a time line of when I should be prepared and that dress should zip uo aat least two thirds of the way :o) Yet, I know how I am. I need smaller goals. A perfectionist like me gets boggedd down in details. If I focus on losing ten pounds, fasting one day, eating raw for one day, I know I can do it.
My first order of business is how to gain control of my mental state of mind. I learned a lot of things last week. it was a short time but learned lots of lessons. One observation I made is that when I'm getting into a low mood, I don't like to be near my fish or my garden. I stop performing my five rites or drinking fresh juices.
I plan to investigate this thoroughly. Last night I was dreaming about watermelons growing up out of the ground. I was thinking about doing another fast for a day so who knows? I know that if I don't master my mind that it will sabotage everything I do.
