There is more male energy around the House this days.
The House is the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.

There are are too many Intentioanl Communities in San Diego,
and I hope there will be many more Intentional COmmunities
of all kinds in the years ahead in America.

We are facing a devastating Divorce rate
in the USA.

I would say this is a byproduct of being in divorce
from our Mother Earth.

I would say that we are in a Human Condition now
where students graduation from Hich School and College
are not prepared by a University Educazion to
live sustainable lives with Mother Earth.

Students of Life at one time in my community
had a place to go called the Intersection House.
For many years, these students lived together about
a block from campus.

Each Tuesday they would host a vegetarian dinner for
the other Students of Life.

The Intersection House no longer exists here.

There is nothing here that I know about where students
can go to be exposed to Life teachings that can
connect them with the growth of Sunflowers.

There are two sunflowers growing here at the
Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.

They were planted on the same day,
the birthday of Peter Dukich,
a man who loves Mother Earth.

He celebrated his 92nd birthday here.
He has spent the last 50 years of more in service
to Mother Earth.

He weeped in awe at the sight of a little rock
and then went into an oration of ecstasy
as he found one preparing soil for the sunflower
he planted.

I planted the other one.

His sunflower bloomed six days ago.

Mine, growing four feet away, under the same conditions,
has not yet bloomed!

His sunflower was fed what he calls Peter's Powder,
fine particles of biodynamic Compost that Peter has
been making for many years.

On the day he was here, we mixed Peter's Powder with
rain water in a paste; then he poured some on his
lovingly tended little patch.

My patch, the one that I prepared with care, did not
have Peter's Powder. My patch during most of the growth
period between early May and July 15, was about 50%
the less of Peter's Sunflower.

I Resolved:

Out of the dust of our cleanup,
out of the Process of defining boundaries
for for the Higher Use of Space
in our Basement, Call Down
Clarity of Intention to provide
The Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
in San Diego, as a Living Laboratory
where neighbors, nearby students,
and students of Life far and wide
can turn for inspiration.

This Land Shall be Rededicated
through the Process of our Cleanup
Organizing, and Decluttering.

It shall be rededicated to provide
the service of education where
on site residents have the opportunity
to find safe haven to remember
that

The Soul and the Earth are Soilmates.

This shall be a place where Residents
are treated with respect born of self respect,
where they are encouraged
to find safety to express themselves
in non-violent forms of communication;
where they come to see themselves as
Creators of their own reality,
and Responsible for their own Creations.

This is a place for grown ups,
grown up students of Life,
who desire to learn how to live together
appreciating foods that are healthy for themselves,
and find the nurturing that is possible
when people live in Spaces Open to what
is next in Life.
