I love these. I use them.

Red Envelopes -
Golden Gourd w/ Engraved Bagua - Piggy Bank

May 17th thru June 15th is the Chinese lunar month of the Snake. This creates an opposition to the Year of the Pig. It's a time of strange energy, people experiencing distance and opposition in relationships, legal issues, traffic tickets, accidents, etc. HH Grandmaster Lin Yun Rinpoche recommended several cures in the Yun Lin Temple calendar for all signs. One of the recommendations is the 10 Mantra Treasure Gourd.

In ancient times, a gourd which is known as "Hu Lu" in Chinese, was used to store medicinal herbs. Chinese deities (such as the Eight Immortals) were often portrayed with a Natural Gourds, they used to capture and contain evil spirits. For the enhancement of personal luck, a natural dried gourd empowered with auspicious talismans may be hung near the main door to draw auspicious chi into the house. The gourd symbolizes that your troubles will go into the gourd and then disappear. Alternatively, Chinese folk tradition tells us that a Golden Brass Gourd with an engraved symbol of a Bagua may also be placed next to the bed to minimize illnesses and to improve marriage relationships. The Feng Shui Shopper now features NEW! Golden Gourd w/ Engraved Bagua.

I've given HH Grandmaster Lin's money box cure to many of my clients. They always ask me "Where can I find a piggy bank?" Often times, they cannot find one in stores. Feng Shui Shopper now has NEW! Piggy Banks! These are very adorable, hand-painted ceramic piggy banks that will work perfectly for the treasure box method. I particularly love the expression and eyes on the piggy. Don't you think it radiates happy-go-lucky chi?

We also have some beautiful NEW! Large Size Red Envelopes. Red envelopes are a part of Chinese tradition; they are given for weddings, celebrations, and feng shui purposes. Sometimes the Red Envelope is called "lay see" or lisee or "Hung Bao". It is believed that this red envelope will bring luck to both the person who gives and to the person who receives it. Red envelopes have been a part of the Chinese tradition for over 3,000 years!

The month of the Snake will be over on June 15th. The next big conflict will be in the lunar month of the Monkey, August 13th - September 10th. So, keep wearing your charms, perform good deeds, and show gratitude and love to those around you.

Wishing you good feng shui!
