The recent Kabbalah Conference held December 18-19 was historic, deep, and healing.

Rabbi Yakov Travis, PhD, founder and Director of Tiferet Institute
is to be congratulated for what he accomplished December 18-19.

Yakov said from the podium that some of the future Kabbalah
Conferences would be private. This one was for the public record.

There were professional journalists here
including noted author and writer, Ira Rifkin.
There were noted documentarians here,
including Frederic Bohbot, of Bunbury Films,
who make a meticulous record of these proceedings.
Rebecca Spence, a reporter for New York's "Forward"
newspaper, a voice in Jewish Thought, was here to report,
as well as numberous others--including Bridget Brett,
for the Los Angeles Jewish Journal.

The entire proceedings were also recorded for CD.'s
and are intended to be available for purchase
to all who want to be part of this amazing happening.

Yakov pulled together an amazing assembly of
speakers and panelists.

These names are Kabbalist Movers
and Shakers who never before in the History of this
Earth Plane have been together in one place.

This was not a conference of people who all think the same
way. This was a conference of divergent elements,
who were asked by Yakov to come together in a Spirit of
menschlikeit, treating one another with humility, respect and dignity,
if not with love.

"While almost all speakers and respondents are engaged
in 'mainstreaming Jewish mysticism' each was doing it
in very different ways, with very different assumptions,
and with different agendas,"
he wrote in a preliminary email.

I do not see a place to the order the C.D.'s
as yet on the Tiferet website. I am sure
it will be forthcoming, as well as a gallery
of some of the Super Ripe Photos I took
at the event.
