Here are some Peace Offerings For a Whole Being Weekend, this Weekend!
Date: 9/21/2006 2:51:26 PM ( 18 y ago)
Here are some Birthday
of the Universe selections
for a Whole Being Weekend.
Please have a Whole Being Weekend
wherever you are from September 22-24.
Mother would love this,
she sezs:
This is a monumental weekend:
The Fall Equinox--changing of the seasons--
New Seeds planted as well as a time of harvest.
Rosh Hashanah--Birthday of the Unvierse...
a Time to write your new Life Script...
What will you be harvesting by next Spring
from what you plant in the energy of millions
around the world--asking forgiveness, and
taking an accounting of their lives.
The Shofar signals this Moment of Awakening.
Ramadan--the 30 days of fasting (from dawn to dusk)
starts this Saturday morning. Ramadan rekindles compassion
for each other, and reminds each of us to care for the Poor.
It is a time to remember God, be a better person,
and care for your health. This is the message of
Ramadan.
Solar Eclipse--the 22nd.
Feeling a bit like some things are coming to an
end? That is the natural flow since September 7
when we had a Lunar Eclipse. Now, this 22nd
comes a solar Eclipse that signals the energy
of New Beginning.
I will be inspiring a Rosh Hashanah
on the land service Friday at the Whole Being Weekend
in idlywild. These are some of the Peace Offerings.
Feel free to include these in your offerings to God
and Mother Earth.

A Gatekeeper
stands at the Gate
of the
New Millennium
“We cannot let our Angels go. We do not see
that they only go out that archangels may come in.
Emerson, "Essay on Compensation."
I have come to make peace with my past.
I have come to reflect,
and recollect on the dreams I once had.
I am here to feel my sadness,
and see that that the only way
out of grief over broken dreams
is through my grief.
I feel pain and move on.
I look up ahead.
I see a sign on a gate.
The sign says “Thank You!”
“Thank you” for showing up.
Thanks for surviving in a world that is not
always pretty, that is not always easy.
Thank you for allowing this day to be the
birthday of the Universe.
and a time to renew yourself.
I see a gatekeeper standing
at this doorway to the next
1000 years
of my life.
“Let your Angels Go!
They go out that Archangels
may come in!”
The gatekeeper
says, “Plant Your Dream!”
Plant your dream again.
The gatekeeper says go inside,
and asks,
“What is the deepest seed dream
what is meant to grow here with your life?
And so I ask myself,
What am I harvesting NOW, and why?
What will I harvest come the Spring?
What am I willing to release NOW,
so that I might make
more living room for what can be?
Am I willing to allow this new millennium
to be truly new?
Can I accept that this newness
has the potential
to become 1000 years of peace
and that I am the missing Peace
that can be in the world?

Oh Mother Earth
hold me as your lover.
Surround me with unthinking
softness.
Let me wed you
as I would a woman.
Let me couple with you
oh Divine Mother.
Let me find in your
soil the loving presence
I find in other lover's touch.
Welcome me home.
( ...through this warm day
in your sunshine.)

The Sight of a bulb
coming up from the ground
totally unexpected
where last year it bloomed
(Oh, now I remember)
confirms the on-going nature of life
inside me, restoring something
I’d given up on,
a feeling so deep
I can’t name it.
Yesterday’s dream,
a seed idea I planted
again becomes a covenant
there will be a tomorrow.
From “Rekindling of Faith”
February 11, 1985
I come more to realize now
I am in the world to see a dream,
to take something deep inside me
and give it form, to breathe life into it.
The state of the world is a by-product
of other thoughts and dreams taking form.
It is the nature of this world
that compels
us to live out our own dreams
or live in someone else’s.
The form dreams take cannot transmit
any more life through them
than the quality of inspiration
behind them.
Take leadership.
Take command, my inner voices
tell me. This is the way of the gardener.

Hey, Whole Beings,
For those of you who've pre-registered
or plan on coming,
here's some important information to remember:
Arrival Time
Please plan your trip to arrive at the camp after 2pm, when the gates
will open, and before 9pm when the gates will close.
In year's past, early arrivals have caused traffic problems on the highway,
creating a
dangerous conditions on a very narrow, winding road.
Please don't arrive early
Likewise, late arrivals are equally difficult. If you can't leave your
home or work in time to arrive at our gate in Idyllwild by 9pm, please
wait until Saturday morning out of respect for the volunteers at the
registration table who've already put in a long day, and for the
campers asleep in their tents and cabins.
Please don't arrive late.
What to Bring and to Leave at Home
Please bring with you bedding
(sleeping bag, pillow, etc.), clothes for both hot days and cool nights,
a flashlight, personal needs (toothbrush, soap, etc.), towel,
and tent and groundcloth if camping.
Most importantly, bring your joyful self,
a positive attitude and a willingness to share in creating
a beautiful experience for everyone!
Please leave at home ...
candles, incense,
cooking gear (no flames or burning objects are allowed in the camp),
all pets, and alcohol.
And please bring ...
lots of laughter,
dance, song, your open mind and loving body.
Be prepared to stretch, hike, love, play, enjoy food and
conversation with your beautiful community.
We are waiting for you and looking forward to connecting.
Weather
Weather is projected to be clear, with warm, sunny days in the
upper 70s, and overnight lows in the low 40s or upper 30s. Bring warm
clothes and an extra blanket!
Can't wait to see you all up in beautiful Idyllwild!
----------------------------------
If you haven't pre-registered,
it is not too late to get in on the fun and celebration:
So manyworkshops to choose from,
great music, dancing and entertainment,
yummy vegetarian food, and not to forget,
other great people like yourself to connect with.
There is still time to volunteer and get your $20 voucher for being the
giving person that you are.
Camp clean up volunteers are always welcome!
If you want to attend the whole weekend (Friday through Sunday), the
rate is $145. You get $20 of that back after you volunteer two or more
hours.
If you can't make it for the whole weekend, we have a special rate for
Saturday through Sunday of $99 and you can still qualify for the
volunteer rebate.
This includes an overnight stay (camping or cabin)
~ three vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
~ all workshops sessions ~ of your choice
~ evening concert of your choice
~ late night entertainment
~ and more!
Performers will include:
~ Karl Anthony,
~ The Temple Bajan Band
~ Olivia Melody and Cyrstal Vibrations
~ Comic Shrink
Late night entertainment includes:
~ A Yummy and Sensual Couples Tantra Puja
~ Diane Mandel Tibetian Bowls
Camp registration starts on Friday, the 22nd, at 2pm and our beloved
closing ceremony is on Sunday around 1pm
Please pass this on to your friends and loved ones. We want to make
this the best Whole Being Weekend yet.
Blissful Abundance,
Robert
