A lecture I am giving myself about staying current with my Financial Recordkeeping. It is so much easier and efficent to stay current.

Staying Current
Or Stress?
Which do I want?

Stay current
with Record Keeping
month to month,
or let cobwebs
form on my brain?

Which do I want?
What are the consequences?

I just spend a few hours
or more doing detective
work with 12 months
of bank statements
and two different
registers to identify
$50.00 Manager fees
that were not taken
out month to month.

This is just one of many
detective hunts I have been doing
for weeks.

Lots of wasted
time having to do
this detective work.

No More!

I am going to
keep up Month to Month
with Reports I
can generate for
total showing me
the year’s inflow
and outflow.

I am thinking
of the poem
“The Road not taken.”

I decided to live
here. Living here,
as far as I can see,
asks that I, or someone
else do this record keeping.

This goes with the territory.

The question is,
What am I missing out
by choosing this
Path?

An elder comes to mind.
Is he still alive?
Did I get a chance
to acknowledge his
passing?
...A teacher from
College, he would
be very old if still alive.

Am I leaving myself
time to fulfill the
destiny of getting
my MS’s out
that now sit on
the shelves?

Use record keeping
as a gardening tool,
dear Leslie, as a meditation exercising
your left brain...

When you keep up
with this month to month,
you will empower yourself,
and gain the confidence
you are asking.



Complete this
organic step
without distraction,
and yes, call that
elder.

Stop being
as Icarus...
This is not a
candy store....
You are constantly
flying out, but not
grounding your projects.
This is why you are
so lonely.
Each complete project
has a harvest
of Blessing.

Do fewer things
with great love.

Many things are
your Shelf will give
great joy.

Keep your focus...
and cleanse, so you can
receive that Joy.

It is like planting a Tree

Leave space
for the harvest to come in.
You are worthy of the harvest.
Enjoy it.
