I am going to an event this weekend where they are going
to do a ceremony on the Return of the Buffalo.
I am a bit squeemish inside.
My friend Anthony has a new Pet Promise Formula
that improves the health of Fido and Kitty.
It really is good stuff.
They are working to save Bison through supporting
sustainable farming and ranching of these amazing
animals.
I have always loved buffalo, and it is a stretch for me
to think of eating something I love as food.
The truth is that Fido does eat meat
and so does kitty, although I realize they too
can be vegetarians.
i need to see more articles about the Bison
and how they are being saved through sustainable ranching.

A Promise of Purity & Purpose
Pet Promise Launches a New Wet Pet Food Variety and Helps America’s Bison Ranchers
March, 2006
Westminster, Colo. – Keeping with its promise to change the way farm animals are raised and companion animals are fed, Natural Pet Nutrition introduces Pet Promise Bison & Brown Rice Formula to its current line of dry and wet pet foods.
Pet owners can now feed their pet a new and unique protein source with a taste dogs are sure to love. All Pet Promise pet foods are free of animal byproducts, added growth hormones or antibiotic-fed protein sources, rendered or recycled meats and fats, brain or spinal tissue or artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Available in the Health and Nutrition Food Store channel, this unique formula made with U.S.-raised bison as the No. 1 ingredient, is another way to grow your business while growing America’s Bison herds. Once on the brink of extinction in the late 1800s, American Bison have made a remarkable comeback as a result of private ranchers committed to natural and sustainable methods of restoring these indigenous mammals.
Because Bison are wild animals, they are naturally lean. Bison has less fat and calories, and more protein and iron than comparable servings of chicken or beef. Known to many as buffalo, bison is America’s original red meat.
Cost: (Prices may vary by individual store).
Pet Promise Bison & Brown Rice Formula (13 oz. can): $1.69 (MSRP)
Available: March 1, 2006
