On June 16, 17 and 18 in Jacumba, CA (1 hour East of San Diego) a diverse group of mystic artists and bombastic musicians will convene for 3 days and nights of magical celebration. In this high desert landscape, they will create a world of beauty, utilizing sound and vision. Centered on The Institute of Perception grounds, these wandering tribes will erect camps, totems and circles of dance and drums.
At the base of Jacumba Peak you will enter into a perceptual-disneyland created amidst the boulders and wild flowers. Upon arrival all guests will be ushered through the TeleMagical Experience: “a tribute to the elements of Air, Water, Fire, and Earth”.
By the old train yard are two stages with 25 indie bands playing everything from rock to trance. The spectacle “Return of the Buffalo” on Sat. night will light up the landscape with a procession of costumed revelers dancing to the collective drum circles. Visual artists will be exhibiting paintings in the Meditative Refuge. Sounds continue throughout the night at the Institute of Perception Lounge where DJs from throughout California will be spinning discs starting at Midnight.
The festival Healing Tent with various massage disciplines will be nestled in a quiet area outside the main gathering. Come and camp in the sandwash village and let the canopy of the full moon night inspire your dreams. TeleMagica ends on Sunday with a call out Thank You to all those who helped create this year's TeleMagica, and for returning the spirit of community to this wondrous landscape.

The Gateway opens Friday at 2pm and will remain open until 10pm Sunday. Admission is $10 per day. Children under 13 are free.
