Brimming with some new life energy
this Monday morning after spending some time
at Jack Soul's 65th birthday party last eve.

One of the friends of Jack, and
an old admired acquaintance of mine
from the 80's is the remarkable man
Jeff Salz.

So what would it be like for you to be fully alive
and be at the forefront of this adventure called living?

Mark Victor hansen has a Speakers Mega University
this Fall in L.A., and Jeff models for me, the part of my
own life that would speak to appropriate audiences.

Look at how Jeff leads his life.

This is from this web site where he offers
his talks to corporations:

Dr. Jeff Salz

An acclaimed explorer with a Ph.D. in anthropology, Jeff Salz has traversed most of the remaining blank spots on the globe, living with the Turkestani Khazaks of Central Asia, riding with the Gauchos of Argentina and searching for Shangri La among the lost valleys of the Himalayas. For three months he led the Chinese Army on a merry chase, while traveling in disguise with the Khampa nomads of Tibet. Jeff Salz has traversed the length of the Andes on horseback and foot.

In 112 days, became the first man to sail the circumference of Lago Titicaca, in a traditional reed boat - Titcaca is the world's highest navigable waterway and the sacred lake of the ancient Incas. An experienced mountaineer, he has led numerous expeditions to South America and has several first ascents and solo first ascents to his credit, from the Southern Patagonian Ice Cap to the Cordillera of Peru.

Jeff Salz has consulted and lectured for US A.I.D. and the US Information Agency in Asia and Latin America, served as liaison officer and interpreter for NBC television news behind the lines with the rebels of El Salvador, and been honored as Outstanding Professor at San Diego State University. He has also become a recognized television personality, creating and starring in adventure specials for the Discovery Network. Quest for the Cloud People follows his traverse of the Upper Amazon in pursuit of a lost civilization - and he found them. Jesus in the Himalayas follows him on a wild ride, on foot, horse, motorcycle and camel, across the world's highest mountain range on one of the most provocative adventures of our time - an investigation into the ancient legends of Jesus in the Himalayas. And Jeff's appearance as the "Guest Adventure Expert" on the CBS Early Morning Show, has earned him international acclaim as an adventure show host.

Jeff Salz's book, The Way of Adventure: Transforming Your Life and Work with Spirit and Vision, is acknowledged as one of THE definitive works on adventure.
