Today is day 33 on the journey
of counting the Omer.
Associated with the harvest of Barley
in the ancient days when we had
what was known as the Holy Temple,
this day is considered very special.
This is a day to celebrate nature!

In Esoteric circles, 33 is a Master #.

This is a special day of celebration
during the actural Omer period,
a day of great Light and rejoicing.

According to some mystics,
the number 33 is the highest spiritual
number in the progression of the signficant
numbers eleven and 22.

IN this week of Hod, the sefirah called "Glory,"
this is the day of Hod in Hod.

The Light radiates fully at the left side of the solar plexus.
This eighth Sephirah symbolizes the physical
sensations through which we perceive and understand
our world, so this is a day to celebrate the form
through which Spirit manifests in our world.

Form always limits the fullness of Spirit, yet
at the same time allows it to operate as an expression
of Creation. So this is a day of celebrating
the Creation that expresses through the forms
oin which we live, particularly focusing on
the form of our sensations.

We are such amazing beings.
We can know forms which constrict
the energies available to us, and rob
the universe of that which we mgiht give it.
And we can know forms far too great for the energy,
and so experience greater and greater levels of frustration.

Hod holds the possibility of forms which
most appropriately and joyfully contain the energy
they hold, and it is the possibility that we celebrate today.

Traditionally, this is a day to celebrate the world of nature,
connecting more concretely with our physical world.
WEhen we welcome perceptions of the natural world, there
is often an opening, a relaxing of the usual sensations
we habitually entertian.
IT is a day for appreciating such Glory.

Daily Focus:

I am a perfect vehicle for experiencing and expressing
the One Spirit manifesting as this world.
Through me, Spirit flows its life of joy and celebration.
The mental, emotional, and perceptual forms of my oife
expand to reflect fuller dimentions of healing
and sholeness now. I celebrate the one I perceive.
