San Diego, CA

Came home about one hour ago
from the Kava Lounge downtown
and have been catching up with some
unloading of food from the FM and
WF in between listening to some
lovely phone messages and emails.

Realized I forgot to put in the refrig
the Fresh Local Bee Pollen I got today
and went hunting for it in the EG Mobile.

Steps outside to a choir of crickets
and various birds all chirping in various directions
and just had to close my eyes and listen.

What a Blessing.
How many people in a major city
get can come out and listen like this
at 2 AM without a sweater and get such
a cacaphony of life sounds?

Ahh...

This was one of those days I could write
a novel if writing was my main focus.
I wonder why it is now...what am I doing
leaving that for old age?

I hope not.

The Kava Launge...
so much to say.

The Linda HIll Mother's Day concert...

Natora Moore...

A call from Marcy...

A call back from Caroline the new housemate gardener
who is excited about moving in mid June.

An email from Charles of the Organic Center...
that he thought my digital images were great
that I sent, and he will send a contribution.

An email from NPEW friend, Beverly Taft, jazz vocalist,
who always mentions Fred her husband, mate.
How sweet. I love it.

Prayer resquests from Deena and Michael...

and and,
so many details and learnings from this Mothers
day at Whole Foods witth the fresh picked strawberries...
so many patterns showed up in me...

The Mark Victor Hansen upset...and getting through
this public venue without blowing out too many people.

Getting more and more familiarity with Whole Foods
behind the scenes and possible ways to further advance
local food in here.

Looking and studying the sources of food...
coming from South America...and Mexico...
comparing prices...doing my homework for
Joe the Farmer's lettuce and taking steps to get it in
the salad bar! Wow!

Down at the Kava Launch...stepping into another world...
and hearing Shimshi, who Doug called the Rabbi of the
next younger generation...it was like a prayer dance happening
in a bar scene place now a nightlife place that has vegan
and organic drinks as well as local beers, meads,
and champaigns.

Witnessing the toxic waste dump next door.
taken photos of ...oh my god...where is her
phone on the back of my card...with Kristie...
she had so much life energy and youth
and had never modeled before. I gave her some
flowers and we had a ball. How exciting!
Ah youth! The garden so wants so young eyes
looking at it...how Fun! I think she will model
here!!!!! So where's the phone?

time to go to bed.

love me.
