Up early.
Lots to do this morning
before keeping an accupuncture appointment
around 11:45 at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
I like the intern very much, Jessica,
that I will work.

I want to get Charles CD in the mail.
Charles is the science director for the
Organic Center. He will be back from
their board meeting real soon and the
event All Things Organic.

The CD is filled with lots of high resolution

"Organic Celebration!
"Fresh picked
locally grown
organic produce"

Why is Fresh Picked so important?
I remember back at Dr. Jensen's
having a little book that was all about
Fresh Food.

For a food to be organically grown
is not enough.

Sorry.

Much of the last century, there were
barnstorming food guru's who would
travel around the country with twinkles
in their eyes tauting the health benefits
that a person could get from Juiice fasting
and other therapeutic modalities based
on the Hypocrities idea"

"Let food be thy medicine!"

Dr. Bernard Jensen was way into this.

Back in the 80's, I was at a Spring Equninox
gathering in Eden Arizona. There was a woman
naturopath speaking. She was talking about
the health benefits that these all barnstormers
twinkled about. She was sad to report that
the reported results that many of them got with
foods was no longer possible the way they said.

Why?

Fresh food was no longer available.

When we want therapeutic quality food,
organic + fresh means it is food that would make
Mother Earth smile. One with out the other
cannot do the healing that those masters got.

Jensen would say that a Fast is bloodless surgery.
Jensen would say, "You are looking for a good
doctor. I am looking for a good patient."

A good patient finds a way to not only get organic
but get foods that contain the Vital Force
that human beings can contain
and are intended to contain.

What was Thoreau talking about in this quote:

""A huckleberry never reaches Boston;
they have not been known there since
they grew on her three hills.
The ambrosial and essential part of the fruit
is lost with the bloom which is rubbed off
in the market cart,
and they become mere provender.
As long as Eternal Justice reigns,
not one innocent huckleberry
can be transported
thither from the country's hills."
--from the Chapter Ponds in Waldern
by Henry David Thoreau.
Somewhere around 1854

What is the "Ambrosial" part?

The "Ambrosial and essential part"
is what draws us to each other's intimacy.
We want to sup at this well.
It is the juice that allows the maiden to charm you.
It is is the hidden wonder that holds us to
memories as we attempt to forget
what only lives in the moment
and can live now
now
now.

The Feng Shui folks are on to it.
I know that a new healing model
is being written as we speak.

IT is a Vital Energy model
about the essence that can be contained
within us when their are no leaks.

From deepest inner to farthest outward,
it is all connected in this flow...one unbroken
wholeness in flowing movement...
and somewhere in there
in Fresh Food
dripping with Self contained Life.

Without it, our juices of life
will leak all over.

More to do:

Have a meeting with Bill Becket
head of the Whole Foods Produce Department
Work on the Feng Shui of where
the Berries are placed.
Get some flyers out this week all over the store.
Get signs made early! Price...shift...
Ask them to move the counter for the place
where I set up.
Have a big sign made up above using
one of my strawberry Photos...
Let this start on Mother's Day, this new
Mother Earth Day.

Mother's Day is Mother Earth's Day
for appreciation the Mother that made us.
