Just got off the phone with Bill Becket,
the Product Manager for our HIllcrest Whole Foods Market.
I dropped off some of Joe Rodriguez's strawberries
after Earth Day. Dave, the Team Leader AKA store mgr
ate one, and greeted me with a friendly handshake.
We are very cordial by now, after a couple dealings
including last summers Feng Shui conference.
After that event, I brought in Roger Green, the
creator of that conference, to do some shopping
before leaving town. He bought all his produce
and goods for a seminar.
So here we go!
Out of the Box--locally grown--never warehoused
Joe the Farmer Yummy organic strawberries
going into Whole Foods this Sunday, delivered
by Your Enchanted Gardener.
This is a FIRST!!!!!!
Most foods go through the warehouse.
If the strawberries last more than a day,
they will start fuming up the place and sell themselves.
When was the last time you ever shopped
in a market and inhaled the frangrance of
a ripe berry?
