Rising Sun suggests a cold remedy, breathing in some Oregano Oil. I look at a Movie theme. Some insights about keeping your diet in perspective. Be Aware: when you fast, emotional stuff comes up to be loved, so love yourself.

Friday
Awaking up still with some heaviness
in my lungs.
Stayed up late in bed watching
a really old melodramatic
movie on TMC
called "Tea and Sympathy."
It caught my attention.
So ancient in ideas.
It was about a boy who was different.
The other boys in the college
called him "Sister Boy"
because he was interested
in other things beside screwing
the local quasi whore. He liked to listen
to "long hair music." He wanted to become
a folk singer. The college had history
and it was alumni weekend.
The fathers were totally controlling,
to say the least the lives of the young men.
This different one was near suicide.
The other young men were singling him out
for what they called effeminate characteristics.
The wife of the main coach, who was
your typical Dude NO touch, No feely kind
of 50's Gent, was not into giving his wife
any kindness, gentle attention.
She took an interest in the one they called
effeminate, who lived in her House where
the young college students would rent rooms.
There was a defined way of doing things.
She could not get any affection from her
husband. She ended up saving the life
of this effeminate one by giving him a kiss.
This was the fatal act for her marriage.
She left her husband.
The final scene: The one called Tom,
Sister boy, comes back years later to the
house. The Former Husband is listening
to long hair music. His wife left him years ago.
Tom, who was saved with a kiss from the former
wife, has left a letter that she did not mail.
Tom has become a great author.
He wrote about his college experiences and
this episode.
In the letter she wants to straigten him out.
She speaks about how she had chosen him
over her husband...she could nave saved either,
but chose to save the one with endearing
open heart.
She said that in her deepest of hearts,
she had never forgotten him.

Rising Sun,
AKA Rudenski,
has left this comment on
this site.
I was tuning in the same thing.
I need to see if I can move the energy
in my lungs with breathing in some hot
herbs.
I have been using the Apple Cider Vinegar.
I did take in some wheat and lamb that was
prepared with kindness but not the highest
nutitional approach.
Read "Cousin to Arab' here for that story.
Reminds me of a story:
Have you ever lost a dear friend because
you offended them by not partaking of the foods
that were offered in love?
I once did that. What a loss.
Most the friendship of my first college English Teacher,
Mrs Laurie (sp?) She was the one who introduced me
to "Lord of the RIngs." I see her name on the net.
She became a writer. All these years of love of deep friendship lost.
I was with Jensen at the time. She prepared the most
lovely meal. I turned my nose up at it.
Jesus!
Jesus, never did stuff like that.
That is my take on that one.
If you have to live so tightly
that food becomes more important that people,
that the kindness and love others want to give you,
you might as well eat MacDonalds and fries every
night SuperSized, and die.
What is Life about if not Soul Growth.
Soul Growth is about finding a way to love.
Often this may mean, NOT keeping contact
where you may be addicted. That can be love too,
but with Understanding and Patience, we can grow
through anything. Resentment, anger, holding on
to things--NOT SPEAKING what we have to say--
THAT is what opens or rather shuts down the lungs
to be Open to flus.
Look at this:
I ate some food down at the store
of Hani, my Arab friend.
http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=92&i=1479
I had flu symptoms the day before the NP EXPO West,
really bad. I took the same remedies I am now.
I got over it! I had to! I could not have the flu during
the time I was at the Expo. My Life depended on it.
A few days after the expo, my emotions were stirred
up. I was in conflict. The Adversary within. Split
energies. Split at the Seems. Devil Worship so to speak.
The Devil in Essene esoterica is the Adversary within.
So what did I do? I ate a bag of Newman's in honor
of the Love I felt lost from the Expo. I also wanted to honor
the memory of this wondeful company who was so generous
with me.
Sugar...Flu...Feed a cold, starve a fever....
I fed the cold sugar and what do you know?
Lung congestion. They I ate some Brown Cow
yogurt...another company owned by a company I
admired...StoneyField.
I was bothered by too much to do.
Reality Check:
Be clear that whatever energies are being suppressed,
they will come up when you do Juice Fasting.
This is a time to love yourself.
You are on Nature's Surgery Table.

Use just a tiny bit of oregeno oil and this is something I wanted to share:
Teas for Cold and Flu
Traditional herbal systems value diaphoretics for treating colds. These perspiration-promoting medicines release waste materials and relieve congestion. Peppermint is a classic example. Drink them hot.
Cooling diaphoretics are used to reduce fever and inflammation. Chrysanthemum flower and honeysuckle flower (Lonicera japonica) are also strongly antimicrobial.5 Elder flower (Sambucus nigra), yarrow flower (Achillea millefolium) and boneset leaf (Eupatorium perfoliatum) are Western diaphoretics. Noted British herbal authority David Hoffmann calls boneset “the best remedy for the relief of the associated symptoms that accompany influenza.”51
Warming diaphoretics also treat the flu. Use them when the main symptom is chills. Basil leaf (Ocimum spp.) is favored in Ayurveda for reducing mucus in the lungs and nasal passages.52, 53,54,55 Basil kills bacteria and stimulates the immune system.56,57 Cinnamon bark is a very effective warming diaphoretic, used at a lower dose, say ½ ounce, or in medicinal beverage mixtures.
I would suggest a little basil, cinnamon, oregeno oil, and apple cider vinegar for your cold.
