Changes suck,
a friend said the other night
when I asked her how she handled it.

I misplaced my scarf--
my favorite winter scarf--
just for a little bit in the EG Mobile
and I could feel my heart throb.

I needed that comfort around my neck,
the woolen hug I could give myself.

I got some revised backs printed
for the Seven Love Cures...
some improvements...

I am seething underneath with discomfort
around changes at home...
and wanting things to be stable right now.

I want to feel secure in my foundation.

I have been trying all week to nail down physical things
just to feel more comfortable.

Got a haircut tonight...
filled up with gas...
going out for some hours to a party
at a place I have never been.

I better get ready to go.

Going up to LA on Wendesday.
