mending financial record keeping leaks this morning...will continue till I get this done.

I have had energy leaking out of my financial
record keeping since last March when my ability
to download transactions and pay bills on line when
South.

I keep my transactions in Quicken on my computer.
Intuit stopped services the Software program, and
I was not ready to step up to a Mac Operating System
that can handle Quicken 05.

I finally got Quicken 04 some time last year, but was
moving so fast that I did not want to slow things down
to install it and deal with whatever learning curve/
glitches/etc that so often happens everytime I deal with a new
piece of software...techno upgrade.

Finally I uploaded Quicken 04 sometime late last year,
but today isthe first time that I have been able to get linked
up with the bank.

I have a lot of downloads to bring into the Quicken program
from a number of accounts.

I started with something simple...my personal finances.

I had to call the Bank twice for help.
The Quicken 4 crashed #'s of times bringing of anxiety.

"One or more checks by your financial institution
have 3's identical to checks in your register but different amounts."

Error 2. I gave the program more memory and this seemed to help.

I see where I really need to keep an ongoing Financial Journal
hard Copy.

Certain deposits escape me...what was in them?

I see where I can find out what the checks are that I did not know
on line. I have learned to go to the web to see the bank
copies of checks written.

This felt good.

I feel so much stress from not being on top of the record keeping...
and this goes all the way back to 04. I will complete that year report
and get it in to the accountant firm that helps me fill out these reports.

I would like to breakdown the procedures into bite size pieces
and keep up with the record keeping, so I do not have such intense
energy leak that comes from putting working with the finances in detail
month to month.

I zoom along doing projects--too many of them--but I see where
working with the financial details as I go along increases my sense
of personal power and sense of organization.

I am carving out time now to get the finances down for '04 and '05 and
get improves systems in place for '06. This will give me more confidence
to deal with growth issues I have to take on.

I have a learning disabilty when it comes to numbers that goes
all the way back to childhood. My emotions get in the way when I cannot
figure out how to do certain financial transactions.

Quicken has helped alot, but my business is not seamless, as far
as followup with contacts.

This year, I am going to focus on getting one solid book out--
The Love Cures. I would like the business side to be in place
and be able to generate various kinds of records and reports.

I am slowing down now, so I will be able to speed up later
and have fewer financial record keeping leaks that cause stress.

Made signifincat progress so far this morning...
as far as confidence.

I have the Erotic Show to do February 2,
and also important communications that need to be made
with the other co-owners of this house.

I turn this all over to a Higher Power that all this will fall into place.

I feel significantly more grounded when my financial systems
are functional.

An INDEX of my financial notebooks
and a culling out of papers I can throw away.
