The above picture is of a man who often clowns.
I smacked him in the face once at the Celebration
of Community in 1993, the only time we met.
He is a great soul, who is here to evolutionize health
care. He has a big heart. I have love in my heart for him.
When I smacked him, he said,
"I needed that!"
He was very interested in wanting to
know what I knew about arthritis, from the inside out.
He runs a community back East from here called
Gesundheit! That is what you say when someone sneezes.
It is good to remember there are people in the world like him.
His name is Patch Adams,
and I just ran across a story about him in a magazine
during my year end cleanup.
The Declaration of Interdepence was on the back cover
of that magazine. It is called Communities Magazine,
put out by the FIC (Fellowship of Intentional Communities.
