Tree Holiday by YourEnchantedGardener .....

This is a great day to adopt a Tree or buy a living Christmas Tree.

I have long had a vision that Christmas,
that time when more people focus on having a Tree,
could be a wonderful Renewal day for the Earth as well.

Trees are central to our Mystical understanding.
Among the Essenes, that ancient culture where
Live Food eating was a way of life,
the Tree was their dominant spiritual symbol
as way of grounding spirituality in daily life.

At each year of a child's birth, as Bernard Jensen
told the story, they would give the offspring with
a fruit tree so that by the age of 18 they really had
an inheritance that was significant.

Pine Trees and other trees used to celebrate
Christmas, can also do so much good for our Cities.

It is possible to buy a living tree, even a small one,
and then keep it indoors for a period of time near a window.

Then in Spring you can plant it outside in a bigger pot
or in the ground.

If you have no space for a lilving tree in your life,
that it a good feedback from the earth for the way you are living.
Maybe your location needs to be changed, or some lifestyle
consideration is asked to be adjusted.

This is also a good time to go out and feed trees with biodynamic
compost, or just make a ring of leaves around the base.

I always thing of our Orange Tree as our Christmas tree.
We have a navel orange, and the tree is now full of oranges.

On the Holiday of Kawanza, that comes on New Year Day,
I would always bring one orange with the leaves attached for the
elder of the family that I generally visit each year.

So here is some wonderful information
at the bottom of Liora Leah's blog here
that you can also read.

If you get behind having one living tree in your life growing,
or go out to a park and adopt the care of a tree, you will be
amazed at the improvements in mental health this can bring,
if not more.
