Ends with a Bang! by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Mercury Retrograde ended December 2. Feeling out of sorts? It usually ends with a Bang!

Every ten weeks or so in this neck of the Universe
there is a phenomena known as Mercury Retrograde.
I am not sure if everyone is susceptable to this energy
but in my life it generally feels like a big Knock, knock
anyone home?

It is a time when the worlds have a tendency to be closer
or want to be. Communications can go South,
unless of course, you are taking time to find the exquisite
in the Now that comes with being fully present.

Machines can go screwy.
core issuec can come up.
It is a time to clean out, clean up,
revisit the past.

Mercury Retrograde officially ended on the second,
but it usually goes out with a bang.

I had three disappointments during this time
as far as room rental.

One of these I heard as a Yes
that turned out to be a maybe, and then a no.
Another seemed like a possible, and was a no.
A third was an excellent match, or so it seemed,
that ended with a decision to take space alone.

During Mercury Retrograde, most people feel overwhelmed.
It is not a good time for contracts.
It is not a good time to say YES to moving in with a bunch
of people. Something is going on deep, something
that wants to get your attention, and if you do not pay attention,
your whole world feels like it can fall apart.

I was waiting to call back a very exciting new housemate
possibility. From the emails, he sounded like it was a big YES,
but then, a have a history of big YES's in my life turning into
NO.'s It is likely a scratch that goes all the way back to Mother
loss--permanent physical loss through death--and that kind
of wound just does not go away unless it is really, really,
cleared out and dealth with.

I was suppose to hear back from the new choice at 5 PM.
but it did not happen.

Then the phone rang around 6:00 PM
It was Sasha and Mike from the New New Age Radio station
wanting to check out if I were ready to proceed with doing
an Internet Radio Show. They were offering me 1/2 off
the startup costs that the Host pays.

I told Sasha I was so far from marketing right now,
I didn't feel I could raise $5.00 for a ...I paused.

"Hamburger?" Sasha said.

I called back the new housemate possibility at 6:30 and she was in
a major Mercury Retrograde--real overwhelmed, car blocked
in front of her in the driveway, police on the way, etc.

We rescheduled. She completely forgot we would be in touch
at 5.00.

So here i am, finishing the rents, and dealing with structures
that need to be nailed down before my Universe can go forward.

I needed change for a $20.00 to remedy a rent payment
confusion. I slowed down. I started to go through a drawer
and tear up papers that needed to go in the trash. That felt good.
It was good to be doing the right thing in the right moment.

Then, I opened up a green brochure from a Boulder Trip
over a year ago, that said Shamrock on it, with one of the lucky
clovers on the front.
Inside paperclipped together was $100.00 with the change
I needed.

Thank you.
I am glad I listened.
