"The stakes were raised in July when Harvard University opened an investigation into whether a prominent dentistry professor had suppressed research by one of his doctoral students in a report to the NIH. The 2001 thesis showed a sevenfold increased risk of osteosarcoma in preadolescent boys from fluoridated water. The supervising professor, Chester Douglass, edits a newsletter funded by Colgate--which makes fluoridated toothpaste--creating "the appearance of a conflict of interest," according to the EWG, which filed a charge of "scientific misconduct" with the federal agency. Douglass was unavailable for comment, but a Harvard spokesman said the university takes the allegations "seriously.""

He said the Biomedical Model is EXTREMELY bought out by the
PHARMA GANG. What determines PUBLIC POLICY concerning
BIOMEDICAL LAWS are based on RESEARCH that is NO LONGER
thorough, and aimed to manipulate the sales of products.

The Researchers are paid by the PHARMA guys.
They think twice about saying anything that will hurt the companies
that support them.

After his talk, John Abramson was smoozing with us.
He said he finds it disturbing that there is some kind of new
law that will make it mandatory to give a vacinne to birds presumably
to stop bird flu. The vacinne is a questionably remedy. Halburton--
there you go, Mr. Cheney again--is the company that has a big financial stake in producing the vacinne.
