What is TCM? Loving a Woman, draft of a poem.

I was awake more than asleep
this first night after the Pacific Symposium,
a gathering of International practitioners, students and teachers
of TCM.

TCM means Traditional Chinese Medicine.
EG Glossary: Traditional Chinese Medicine=TCM

The whole field is in constant movement now in America
as it establishes its role a WORKING approach to Health Care
that is not DAMAGING TO THE BODY OR OFFENSIVE TO THE SPIRIT.

SO, it is the Morning After a major conference
and as usual I am filled with various inspirations,
some that have been on hold percolating while
I attended to other things.

The Love I receive at Conferences brings out the best in me.
Some of my best work comes out the days following a Conference.

Here is a draft that will likely turn into a New Love Cure.

A woman is her own person. Ask first.
Ask first. No matter how many times you have touched her,
ask first. Be thoughful. Do you best to approach the next moment
with her fresh, as if you are virgins each time you meet.
Do your best to arrive in the moment without expectations,
or a sense of urgency. She will feel this. Having no expectations
allows her to come closely, if she chooses.

Show up full in the moment, with something to give.

Be grateful for the energy she gives you,
including her enthusiasm; never assume you have permission to give anything out that belongs to her without making sure she wants this.

She is a private person. Her body belongs to no one except her;
Consider your self honored, should you meet her in a moment when she
wants to share it. Never assume that her openness in any given moment
means she will be open in the next now, or now, or now, in your always
new life together.

Respect everything she gives you--her phone number, the personal ways
she expresses to the world. Never say anything about her to others,
unless she has said directly, more than once, that you are free to do this.

To do these things, inspires trust. Trust bears love. To do these things
is to be a loving person with a woman.
