Yikes!!!!

I am having one of those mornings where i wish I could
just upload all i am receiving, or maybe it is that I am downloading
and just need to relax and enjoy all the good
and all the pleasure that is wanting to give you and i
the best year yet.

I received this email this morning from
Suzee Miller, who has a cabin in Big Bear
and is one of my close Feng Shui allies.

I met Suzee Miller at the International Feng Shui Conference '04
in San Luis Obispo.

She is a Very successful multi-faceted woman
who is on the leading edge of bringing Feng Shui into
Real Estate. Some of her spiritual growth in recent
years has been influenced by the Agape Folks, Rev
Michael Beckwith, et all.

Here is one of her web sites:

http://www.fengshuiplaza.com

PS there's a photo of mine on her home page.

I sent a lot of my photos to Suzee last year...and she consistently
reported back to me that they were highly erotic. I hadn't had sex
for about a year, or so it seemed. Every time I went to the FM
the energy i was feeling went into the photos of Fruits and Vegetables!!!!

She understands how to do teleseminars and has massive hits
every day for her sites.

This is her email and what i sent to her:

"hI Leslie...

nice to hear from you.

I believe it's all about letting go of expectation and struggle.
If you haven't read POWER VS. FORCE..i highly recommend it.
It seems to me you expend sooo much force...time, energy, emotion...
.trying to make things happen.

how about giving up struggle starting today,
for the rest of your life? relax, it's all an illusion anyway.
breathe deeply...relax,,, and breathe in your own magnificence.
you don't have to DO anything related to force,
just be Leslie and allow others to see you and appreciate you
and your gifts w/o trying so hard to possess them.

I'm great. super busy with FS work and just moved last wk.
life is good. wish i had more free time, nonetheless,
i have no complaints.
i'm grateful everyday to be doing God's work
and to be living a blessed life.

come from gratitude and thanksgiving
and the Universe will bless you..

Always,

suzee

My note I sent to her:

gGood to hear from you Suzee,
I have been missing you.

I am feeling a loss of inspiration,
a sense of discouragement to take the next steps
with the photos. I could not have had a higher experience
at the Feng Shui Conference.
I put tremendous energy into a followup web site,
but it has not generated any sales
of photos CD and this felt discouraging.

I sense the technology I will need to create
a professional site for the photos I have to sell
is necessary, but i am having a hard time moving
through feelings of loss
that occur
and a feelings of putting in tremendous work
without results coming back.

How are you doing, sweet, Suzee?

I know you thought the greeting card format would work better.
I have another conference in a couple seeks.
I am just have a difficult time generating
my own enthusiasm and belief in my own gifts.

love,
leslie

*A Book Review*

Power vs. Force

The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior

By David R. Hawkins, M.D, Ph.D.

Reviewded by Michael C. Gray

December 2, 2002

When you hear the details about this book, you might think
I’ve gone "over the edge". If you have no interest
in the "metaphysical" or spirituality,
this book review and this book may not be for you.

If you are open-minded about spiritual subjects and the application
of spiritual sense to business and everyday life,
you might find this to be the most important
book you have read in some time.

Dr. Hawkins has the credentials that should command
a fair hearing. He began work in psychiatry in 1952
and is currently the director of
The Institute for Advanced Theoretical Research.

The proposition that Dr. Hawkins presents in this book is
"…the human mind is like a computer terminal connected
to a giant database. The database is human consciousness itself…
with its roots in the common consciousness of all mankind. …
The unlimited information contained in the database
has now been shown to be readily available
to anyone in a few seconds, at any time and in any place."

In other words, Dr. Hawkins presents a method,
using "kinesiological testing", to get an accurate answer
to any question (except predicting the future)
with a "yes or no; true or false" answer by accessing the sum total
of human experience.

Kinesiological testing is a simple procedure
relating to the mind-body connection
that can be performed by two people.
With his research assistants,
Dr. Hawkins has performed thousands of tests of the reliability
of the procedure. I invite you to read about it and try it for yourself.

Using this method, Dr. Hawkins has made a
logarithmic scale ranking of different levels of consciousness,
from shame (20) to courage (200) to enlightenment (700 – 1,000).

According to Dr. Hawkins, effectiveness of activity
from the higher states of consciousness is based on power,
the influence of good or leadership.

The effectiveness of activity from the lower states
of consciousness is based on force.

Dr. Hawkins contrasts power vs. force in the areas of politics,
the marketplace, and in sports.

In politics, the Constitution of the United States
and the Declaration of Independence were both based
on spiritual principles from which they derive their power
to inspire the world to pursue the democratic ideal.
In business, Wal-Mart is cited as an example of a successful principle-centered organization.

In sports, individual athletes inspire us
through their devotion to the ideals of sport,
rather than their personal glory.

There is obviously a lot of food for thought here.
I found this book to be challenging reading,
but well worth the effort. Meanwhile,
the technique of using energy testing
is simple to apply and experiment
with for a very practical application.

Try it. You may be astounded by the results!

Power Vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior
Worth reading for the individual interested in bettering him/herself.
Mar 11, 2003

Pros: Life altering writing for the majority of the human population.
Cons: It seems one sided. There are no contradictions to his theory.

The Bottom Line: Read with an open mind.
Use what you can. Throw away any useless information.
Learn and better yourself by reading this book objectively.

RATING DETAILS

Full Review
Power vs. Force is about understanding your own level
of consciousness and learning how it affects your life and others.

There are some very important concepts noted in this book.
One of the most important aspects I found while reading
this book was the perception that we have toward others
in our society. It is our perception of our lives
which indicate how content or dreadful we are.
It goes on and gives a graded level of consciousness
that each of us are living.

For example, Jesus Christ and the Buddha
rank at the 1000 level (the highest possible).
The lowest of the low would rank near the 100 level.
He goes on to explain that everything in this world
can be calibrated and given a score

(You can see where you rank by reading
the appropriate chapter).

A very important item that one can get by reading
this book is to experience love and compassion for others.
This may sound somewhat "cheesy" but this is basically
what many people lack in our society.
If people were to become more kind and compassionate
toward others, there would be less problems in the world,
the book states.

Overall, I found the book to be very interesting
and worth reading. It gave me pause
and made me rethink how I experience the world.
I think that this book will be a positive influence on anyone who reads.
I am not saying people should live by the book
and begin a new religion based on the findings of Dr. Hawkins,
but am saying that once the reader objectively processes t
he information in the book, he/she will have a tool to better their lives.
