Bob Dylan film on PBS is really great! Repeats during the night a couple times.

This FILM that showed tonight on PBS
on the Life of Bob Dylan up till 1966
is incredible. IT repeats a couple times.
There are also some must see specials
on the 60's era on PBS tomorrow night at 9 PM.

I ran out of energy tonight
in a week when I have lots to complete
before the ENCHANTED GARDEN NEW YEAR
starts October 3.

!. A major thank you is coming out on the Feng Shui Conf
that directs everybody to my Feng Shui Site.
I have about ten hours work on this to get it where I would like.

2. The Slow foods group from a month ago wants
photos that have been stuck in my camera and now are
hard to get off my old PC. I got one off so far...

THANKS to BOB DYLAN and Bob Scorsese (SP?)

This is the MOST INCREDIBLE LOOK at his genius
who everyone was WANTING TO MAKE SENSE OF...
HE was basically doing his life.

He wrote all these songs that were the ICONS of
the ANTI-War movement of the 60's-70's and he hardly
ever went to an ANTI War DEMO.
He was just writing, and writing, and writing....
Every one got on his case when he started to go ELECTRIC.
HE kept moving, and growing, and creating.

What was so amazing that this film showed, he
couldn't hardly answer any of the media questions...
The media kept trying to pigeonhole him into being something
that he hardly imagined he was.

He was't into be a role or hardly could get into being famous,
and yet all the people surrounding him on stage were the ICONS
of History...it is so inspiring.

The people backstage were Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul, and Mary,
a very sweet man, who joined the Enchanted Garden Club.

and Theodore Bikel, the great Jewish singer was backstage.
I took pictures of Theodore Bikel last year at the Reb Zalman
second day of Rosh Hashanah.

And Pete Seeger was back stage. Bob Dylan was so upset
becausae Pete wanted to cut his electric cord. They felt he
was betraying the Folk Music Tradition. He was just being himself
creatively and going with his own life and flow.

Then finally, he got into a motorcycle accident almost
so he could stop playing for eight years....

Then, he reemerged later...and kept on keeping on...
His Christian phase, his jewish Phase...Got only knows...
where his genius would lead him.

His sweetheart at one time was Joan Baez, another woman
who was definitely into the frontlines of the Anti-War movement.
She said he was so very complex. He often did not want to
mix performing with her because he did not want to mix performance
with being lovers.

Joan Baez is also in this film. I adore her.

Once, years ago...I did a closing ceremony for an expo
in LA...it was a very high time...Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach
was on stage....

Somehow the night after....I ended up invited to this
home in Pacific Palisades, a mansion.
Shlomo had slept in the bed where I slept the night before,
and that was the house were the reclusive Bob Dylan
would hang out among his Jewish friends from Childhood.

That is the closest i have come to being around him personally,
but who knows....
