Checking in.... a range of topics... The found the film I was looking for... and I am going to a Full Moon burning ceremony to shift stagnation.

The name of the movie I was looking for
a couple months ago that shows
all these people being effected
by the love that a chef put into the food
is called Simple irresistible.

It is a remake of Chocolat
or the other movie about the Chef
who serves food and the people who eat it fall in love.

I just talked to Gordon Smith on his cell.
He is the head of the local Slow Foods group.
He is on his way to the Farm Aid concert to prepare
food. Willie Nelson puts on that event.

This year is it going to help the farmers in the South
who were effected by Katrina. Maybe next year
i will be free enough to go myself.

I am going as fast as possible in my cleanup
of my room. I have a lot of chaos and papers
to put in order from the recent events--
the Feng Shui Conference and Whole Being Weekend.

I would like to get my space in order asap
so I can start preparing for the High Holidays
in 16 days (16 days begins tonight).

I had a pull to go to LA this weekend and
also spend some time with Beloved on the road
but the energetics were not right.

I am going to a burning ceremony on the beach tonight.
We are burning some wood, one a stump
that was pulled out by a fomer housemate.

Matt is organizing the burning.

I have not told him that the man who pulled
out the stump commited suicide years later.

He met a woman here and they were later
married. They had a baby together
and the baby was born in a water birth
in the room where Matt now lives.

She was a great gardener and went to
Naropa at one time before moving in here.

I am sorry to say that she later traveled
to Thailand, became ill, and also died.

I wonder where that boy is now, the child
that was born in the water birth tank.

It is near sunset...
I have a big mess in my room,
but if I do not leave pretty soon,
I know I will be too tired to go out.
