before bed...

friday night and heading for bed early.
It is 11:08 PM. Up since around 6 AM.
Had an incredible visit with Jean Richardson
of Goldmine natural foods.
She has been in high food consciousness
for 29 years and is a tremendous source
for the highest quality of grains and seeds to eat
and lovely Macrobiotic foods from Osawa.
Reminds me: I baught some saurerkraut
of the finest kind and it is still in the EG Mobile.
It will hold to the morning.
Wow!! This is Friday, then Saturday,
Sunday,
Monday
Tuesday,
and SET UP at the HIlton for the feng shui conference.
Some amazing converations today...
one with the marketing head for Whole Foods locally...
handled that real well...they are donating lots of the
most incredible Costa Rican rare flowers.
last night Onnalea came by, their florist and we mapped
on the EG installation for a 20 x 20 space.
We got to Steven Spankler over the phone while she was here.
He is one of the amazing elders of plants in this bioregion...
He will bring in lots of tropical trees to the Sacred Space.
I needed a plant person and he is of the highest...
total care of plants, and some of the really rare exotic trees.
Onnalee was having mouth orgasms last night as we walked
around...he has a lot of Hawaiann Goddess undernearth
and is a Vegan. She was going wild, wild, wild over the first
fruits of the Rose Apple tropical fruit tree that is loaded
and just started to bear fruit.
IT takes like a rose and is crunchy like an Apple.
delightful. She also went into a deep space holding
the Lumber bamboo, that goes about 50 feet high.
What a joy to have her on the team...she will be helping on
Wed and Saturday. I will feature her...and give Whole Foods
their money's worth in exposure. it was good to speak to Ray
their marketing man and get that kind of a perspective.
lots of details...really lots with refining and designing menus
shifts...and the Hilton is being very on top of things.
I am getting lots of support on many levels from them,
and some heart tugs of appreciation from the Senior Sales Director
Matt who is a single parent with two great young men.
i was able to give him some strokes and invited the kids to the space
for some gifts (seeds).
Then i went to Jean Richardson, who is one of the incredible resources
for grains and seeds and lots of macro and raw products.
i bought the Rawsome book by Briget Mars from Boulder.
I have some wonderful photos of her at the last NPEW in march.
I will get one up soon. She is a top herbalist.
I was thinking of Deradune and Vibe8 when i bought that book
and of course you Ren.
So that is where Rawsome comes from!
I wanted to give Hermann the Chef a new raw perspective.
Still not much raw in the menu, othe than fruits but things
are filling out with good donations.
Patricia Bragg came through with one call yesterday.
We are old friends. She has one of the finest virgin
olive oils i have ever tasted. She is an Essene minister from
way back esoerically. I have stayed at her cottage and enjoyed
her garden. Her chocolate peppermint grows in my garden.
I think of her all the time when i see it.
Tired...enough for now.
i am firing on all burners and it feels so very good.
Handling details...seeing how valuable each moment becomes
increasingly as showtime appears.
i will be in good shape, and this seems amazing considering
how difficult it has been to come back to life at this level.
i really do well when I am called into action at this level.
I really love interacting with the pros of the Hilton.
Roger is out of the country in Syndey and Marise is in New York
so it feels like I am managing the conference in many ways.
IT is a really good growth experience, and i feel I have a future
at the Hilton teaching in their kid program, and who knows what else.
I want to have some of my art hanging there, and I have a sense
that is real possible.
love from youreg
