Went shopping tonight at
Ocean Beach People Food Store.
I noticed the Organic Wine Section
and had a pull at my heartstrings
to see some wine from the Frey Organic winery,
one of the few companies in the nation to
produce Biodynamic Wine, free of Sulfides.
I am not too much of a wine drinker
but when I drink wine I drink Frey Wine.
I take my hat off to my dear friends
at Frey's who put a lot of Love in their Wiine.

She was not doing too much wine business herself
in 2004. She was pre-occupied using her
time and energy helping to make Mendocine County
the first in the nation to ban GMO foods!!!
Katrina is part of the Frey family, personal friends of mine.
I have spent time on this lovely farm where the many brothers
and sisters live, and herds of kids live. Some of them
attend the nearby Waldorf School.
Each family member has their own house on this shared land
of many acres. They grow the finest quality grapes and make their
healthy wine. They live graciously on the earth
in harmony with all life.
There is a wonderful pond on the land.
A few summers ago I went swimming in that pond
and took a little mud bath.
There was a garter snake that was sunning
itself at the side of the pond. It allowed me to
come up and touch it! That is the kind of
gentleness that you find on this land
that sings in harmony with mother earth.
I have a photo of that sweet little snake.
I will post it one of these days.
