Fun and games with the Pitney Bowes Company.

The Good News has arrived!!!
Halalulah!!

After two calls yesterday
to the Auto Balance Department
and aborted attemps to get my Bill handled Online,
today I spoke to two different
Customer Reps for the Pitney Bowes
Postage Meter Company,


All is well and Clear.

The first Rep Understood
and agreed that it was reasonable
that I did not want to spend
my entire working Life opening
and answering bills from their Company.

After considerable phone time it
is now also clear that this Company has
more than one department that sends
out bills.

The Piney Bowes Purchase Power
Branch does not communicate with the
Personal Post Meter Rental Branch.
Separate bills are acrued from each department
that are sent out in different correspondences.

Gratefully the Supply Branch knows
what the Rental Branch is doing,
so even though they did not use
my Credit Card which they had
this was not because they did not have it.
But now, through a step up in evolution
the Rental Branch will
take care of the Supply Branch Bill
for my Account.

Giving the Postage Branch an update
of my Credit Card and reversing a late
fee of $29.00 a month ago
did not however mean that this Department
of the company knew what the other Body Parts
were up to.

After careful Phone communications
The Rep has also Taken Down a Note
that it would be more convenient for customers
if The Seven Digit Serial Number requested
by the Online Part of the Company
on its "Make it More Convenient Branch"
was visible on the machine rather than an
eight Digit Serieal Number
and that the account # on the bill was the same
as the account than is different that a person
needs to know to use the Conventient Online service.

I hope this is not too confusing.

All Past Bills and Karma are now up to date.
There is no late fee for the Rentals overdues that
have not been paid since February beyond my Knowing.

The Supply Department, the Postage department
the Rental Department are now all in communication
about my bill that is now paid.

I am so happy to be getting on with my day and my Life
and that my Life is in Good Standing with the Pitney Bowes
Company.

After I figure out how to do the mandated cleaning
with the new cleaning kit-$39.00
and the new Ink refill $20.00 or more
I imagine the day will come again when I will
actually be mailing out a letter using this meter
that rents for $21.28 on a non-breakable lease
for a year. One Day, God willing, I may even
have time to figure out how the Labeller works
that was a GIft for taking advantage of the Great
Opportunity to Do Business in America with
a Postage Meter Machine.

What happened to the days when
you simply licked a stamp?

Grr...
