Building Biodynamic Compost

Building a Biodynamic Pile
is like building a "Birthday Cake" --for the Earth.

There are the ingredients that are in different piles...
greens...grass, etc
straw,
cow manure..
food scrapes...veggies and fruits only,
no meat, etc.
You sprinkle the layers of the cake and keep repeating and watering.
The actual building often takes place as a community activity
involving numbers of hands. IT sits about four or more months.

When I put down compost from our pile...the plants start screaming!!!!!
It feels like I am feeding chickens.

I have some other friends in the San Fernando Valley who might know...
one is named George Patton who is a great gardener
and worked with me in some of my original Enchanted Gardens.

I would start with Peter...Peter has lots of Peter Powder...stirred compost
but you need whole soothing bunch to get started.

The idea of permaculture...that used some of this method is to not allow
the soil to be baked by the sun...this is where the mulch comes in. Mulch is a layerof covering to protect the fertility underneath and hold in the water.
Worms can then grow under the mulch...You can also start a simple pile in a corner
of a container with your food scrapes...Earthworms will eat
the scapes and make worm castings. This is what I am doing.
The worm castings is brown dark soil that you can feed to the plants,
putting it in a watering
bucket...
The worms get pregnant...
I like seeing how the devour the greens and fruit rinds.
They form ringlets.

The Shape of the Pile is based on one of the forms in geometry
that one man said last eve was the shape of the original pyramids of both
Egypt and the Mayans.

The Mystical aspects are very connecting--and intended to be--
not only with those three power beautiful Chakras of yours
but with all Chakras of the Earth.

It will be exciting to see how do this effects you!!!

Dr. Jensen taught that most wars are fought over dark rich bottomland...
Bottomline...whether it is oil or space to grow food, the more fertile
fields are wanted where people can grow good food and get their needs met.

I came up with this idea...
if people fight bottomline over fertile Soil...
why not start making Peace by
creating more fertility of the Soil???

Compost and Mulch are both used to enrich and make Humus...
Humus is the fertile layer that develops with the alchemical reaction
between the healthy buglife, the healthy bacteria, and the living fertile Earth
that can grow your health and immune system.

In the Essene work, the fertile soil top layer is called the Womb
of the earth.

My experience is that sometimes I imagine I am doing something to the Earth
when I get down on my knees, but I get up and suddenly I have all this energy.

The Earth has been feeding me while I thought I was feeding and working it.
