Just Got Saved!!! by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Just Got Saved from a Big Food Binge. I was feeling angry and frustrated from long hours working and fighting the images. Then I had a breakthrough.

Wrote this this late afternoon
down at the Bug House,
my auto repair shop
where I was working all day
at my computer while the EG Mobile was being fixed.
Amy Watts works for the Organic Trade Assocation
and headed up the OTA Reception
at the Natural Products Expo West.
I was the photographer at the Reception
and I am working on getting the digital images
to the organization.

I was just saved by Amy Watts,
completely saved.

I felt so frustrated today
working long hours
sitting in an uncomfortable chair
with my computer fighting me.
In my head,
I was on my way to eat at the Sizzlers Steak House.

I ate Steak, medium done,
lots of salt and sauce,
baked potato
with butter, creamy
mashed in,
hot, soothing to the gullet
and then
a salad bar--
what ever they have there
the whole line up stuffed in--
and dessert
ice cream
from that machine
that swirls
it out,
vanilla,
maybe chocolate too,
But then
then
I started working with
the digital image of Amy
and enjoying
the color of her dress
the soft material
the lovely way
it outlines
her lovely
sweet innocent being.
She was such a kind presence
for me at the OTA Reception.
I started working with her eyes
taking the red out--
a new Techno feat
I learned today for the first time
using Photoshop elements.
I feel into her lovely smile
into the clear skin of her face
and the lovely color of her hair
that was accented by her dress.
Suddenly I realized my belly felt full.
All my anger was gone.
I knew without knowing
I didn’t have to
go and eat the whole
unorganic Sizzler out.
