The Rodriguez Family, my adopted farming family,
had a bumper crop of organic strawberries
out at the Hillcrest San Diego Farmers' Market
on Sunday.
Do you know the vitamins and minerals in
ripe organic strawberries?
These had a extra amount of Love
as visible in the faces of Sammy and mom Slyvia.
Sylvia delivers babies during the week.
When I asked Sammy
how she was.
She said, "Really good,
and You?"
How many 12 year olds ask back like that?
Sammy lives in an area of Fallbrook where it is
very hot. She lis looking forward to a lot of summer
days at the pool to cool off.
Our farmers work especially hard.
I hope you are going out of your way to shop
at the Farmers' Market in your area.
They need our love
and we need them to know who is on the other
end of the hard work they do for us each day.
