Passover, that begins Saturday and runs from eight days, has rich esoteric meanings. Some are explained here....

April this year has been an incredible spiritual journey.
We began the month with Easter.
This afforded us the possibility of aligning with the Christ energy
and doing a major personal health resurrection.
I know I have been on this path.
I love the energy of the rising,
the moving aside of the rock,
the moving aside of the blockages in our life.
Similar metaphors repeats starting Saturday
with the holiday of Passover that runs for eight days.
You do not have to be Jewish to get into the esoteric powerful metaphors
of Passover.
For a fun review, Check out a copy of The Ten Commandments by Cecile
B. Demille. This decribes the journey of the slaves out of Eqypt and the pits
of mud. It is the journey toward the Promised Land.
The Promised Land is the Enchanted Garden, and the way to get there
is through following Mother Earth's dictate to Plant Your Dream!!!
We enter the Promised Land one Seed and Seed Dream at a time.
You are the Seed. It is your Seed Dream that is being asked to be planted.
Go for it.
Now is the time to do a Life Review.
What are the Blocks that are standing in the way of you personally getting out of
your personal Eqypt????
What is keeping you stuck in the mud?
What are the blocks you will remove now?
What is standing between you and the fulfillment of your Seed Dreams?
What will you be celebrating by this time next year?
I want to know.

The Orthodox Jewish People have quite a cleansing ritual.
They are not allowed to have any Chometz--i.e, puffed up leavened bread in the house.
They go around with a candle and feather and do rituals to clear out every speck of
Chometz. Esoterically Chometz is ego.
This is the origins of Spring Cleaning.
There is also a custom to invite a stranger to your Sedar...so be on the lookout
for public Seders in your city, or check out the local Jewish community and make
some Jewish friends.
Sedars can be any night during the week, but the main ones are Saturday and Sunday
night this year.
Seder means ORDER.
This is a ritualized mean with everything on the plate and the order of eating have deep
spiritual meaning.
You would all gain measurably in health if we created rituals to go with each meal we eat.
Their is a Seder plate. It has various ritualized foods.
In recent years, many of the Jewish Renewal friends I know have added an Orange to the plate.
This is an incredible story;
One year, an Orthodox Jew, the most fundementalist side of the Jewish Traditions, said that
a Woman had no business being a Rabbi than an Orange belonged on the Seder plate!!!
SO guess what? Today, some of the most exciting music is being written by Women Jewish
Renewal Rabbis, and they have placed an Orange on the Sedar plate!!!!
My kind of folk.
Enjoy Passover, and whatever you do, avoid the Matzah!!! (unleavened bread generally
made from while flour, a sure digestive nightmare for me and many)

Diet and Lifestyle go hand in hand.
To adapt a Raw food regimen without having in place
a Spiritual Lifestyle that goes with this Regimen is an imbalance.
