This was one of a series of photos of Dr. Bernard Jensen with his beloved Alpine goats. He was a proponent of fresh warm goat's milk straight from the animal. He said it gave vital energy.

Dr. Jensen was an strong workaholic. On special occasions I would kidnap him out of the office and take him down to the more natural areas of the Ranch.

He very much enjoyed the photos I would take of him on these little outings in the garden.

He loved his fresh goat's milk very much, and said
it could bring a person back from the dead.

The goats were milked twice a day, once in the morning
and once around 4 PM.

"May I have a glass of goat's milk?" was the one line--said
In spanish---that I remember to this day. He had a special man--Polinar--who milked. He was very kind to me.
