Yummy Aloe Smoothies Make Aloe Vera Easier To Take Each Day. A recent human clinical study showed that both vitamin C and E bioavailability is increased by as much as 300% when taken with aloe instead of water. No other matrix is known to increase the bioavailability of both water and fat soluble vitamins. Pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers or babies should not take aloe vera.

The best source of Aloe Vera is from the plant itself. Cut the tip, squeeze the gel out of the end and drink it. Anything purchased may not be as good as the straight stuff but several aloe-vera supplement providers say they have stabilized aloe vera and their product is as good as fresh aloe vera or better. Maybe that is true but I like the idea of using fresh off of the leaf aloe. Aloe Vera plants are the easiest plants to grow in the world and everyone should have some for burns and more. But until I get my aloe garden up to speed, I can get a gallon jug of aloe vera for $20 that will last for a long time.
Aloe has a slighlty tart taste and some people might not drink straight aloe vera. The best aloe drink for me comes from adding aloe vera juice to lots of natural fruits and veggies. When I make my almost daily smoothie with fruits & veggies, the 2 ounces of aloe vera is lost in the flavor of the smoothie. My morning smoothies consists of veggies(usually carrots), a little honey for sweetner, bannanas and whatever fruit I can find. Apple, appricots, peaches,pears... delicious fruit help start my day off right. I add blueberries and strawberries almost every day cuz' they are yummy and also have wonderful health benefits. Adding nuts like almonds or almond milk make my smoothies tasty or sometimes oatmilk from my healthfood store make smoothies fun and I want my smoothies to be dairy and soy free. No yogurt & milk for me. I avoid milk and do not recommend milk for anyone. I believe milk can be a neurotoxin for some people and I know it is not good for me. Baby calves quit drinking their mother's milk at four months and never return to their mother's teet for milk again. There must be a reason they quit drinking milk so why should we? Add lots of ice from filtered clean water to make your drink as healthy as possible. Add as many other healthy veggies and fruits as you can find, cinammon to taste and blend it up and you get a tasty aloe smoothie that anyone would love.
Cancer and other ailments might cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars and shorten your life. For a few dollars and a little bit of time, I believe my aloe drink is the best thing I do for myself every day. I drink 2 ounces of aloe vera juice almost every day but unless you are really gung-ho about aloe vera, I doubt you will take it without flavorings added. There are lots of aloe products that add flavoring or put aloe in pill forms that make it easier to take aloe vera but I want to do my own because of cost and freshness. Aloe smoothies are my choice but if I am in a hurry, I mix in 2 ounces aloe vera and carrot juice and add a little cinnamon. It is a concoction that goes down fairly well.
Vitamin C is something I want in my daily drink and there are lots of good sources to add to my drink. While researching natural forms of Vitamin C, I came across acerola fruit. Acerola is an interesting fruit that provides 1,600 x the daily nutritional need per day for one cup. I have not tried it yet but it looks very promising as a natural form of Vitamin C.
Wrenn suggests using the herb stevia for sweetening herbs. The main thing about aloe vera is to take aloe vera in a tasty and healthy way so that you or your loved one will continue taking it for the health benefits it may bring you. If you add the extra goodies to aloe vera that are also good for you as well, it will make the aloe go down easier, will taste better, and may make you a more healthy person for taking it. Almonds Are a Girl's - And Guy's - Best Friend

Kendall.
