Candida albicans
Based on scientific publications and my own experience, I think that the main causes of Candida overgrowth are:
- the use of antibiotics (especially when not accompanied by probiotics)
- an overload of mercury
- a lack of dietary fibers
- a lack of exercise
- a diet rich in refined sugars
- a diet poor in fruits and vegetables.
Candida’s morphological transition from ellipsoidal yeast to virulent hypha (filamented fungus) is reversible. The remedies that I find work best for me are:
- lactic acid bacteria (probiotics)
- digestive enzymes
- psyllium husk (fibers)
- inulin (prebiotics)
- all foods and supplements that detox mercury.
Candida adheres to tissues by binding mercury. When mercury is removed, Candida detaches itself from its adherence sites and is eliminated.
