Thirsty for the Truth?
Which do you believe;
1) whatever you see,
2) more importantly what you know or have learned to be true?
How do people get so bad and evil?
The world tends to lead everyone to believe that there are few if any any repercussions for their personal selfish gains in life! This is because most things are part of the law systems which vary and cast doubt upon many such actions! This allows humans to conceive or follow a false belief and do what they want! Which is a lie or Deception of the Highest magnitude!
Then as the world has seen fit to classify and operate lies or misconceptions: An old jest runs to the effect that there are three degrees of comparison among liars. There are liars, there are outrageous liars, and there are scientific experts. This has lately been adapted to throw dirt upon statistics. There are three degrees of comparison, it is said, in lying. There are lies, there are outrageous lies, and there are statistics.

So where is the Absolute Truth?
There was a movie " A few Good Men" where the USMC Colonel replied to the question when ask for the truth: " Truth, you don't know the truth! " Which is where most people are in the world today! Therefore " Seek and You shall find! " Matt 6:33.
John 4:10-14 (NKJV)
(The prime example!)
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?
12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Jesus painted a beautiful picture of salvation in this passage. The salvation Jesus brings is like an artesian spring that doesn't have to be pumped. It bubbles up constantly and freely. {The Absolute Truth!}
Unfortunately, not every new Christian's experience matches Jesus' description. Many people relate more to an old pump which has to be pumped and pumped. Just as a trickle of water comes, they have to rest. They lose their prime. The water stops. Then they have to start all over again.
Yet, Jesus said we would never thirst again. This doesn't mean that one drink satisfies us forever. But, as we continue to avail ourselves of this water of life daily, we will be constantly refreshed. The well of His life is there, but we must partake, of the Absolute Truth
The dryness in a Christian's life comes when we substitute other things for the living water {Truth} that only Jesus can give.
Anytime a Christian begins to thirst again, it is not a reflection on the living water {Truth}that Jesus gives, but rather an indication that we have been drinking from some other source. {Non-truth}
'Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation' {truth}
(Isaiah 12:3).
Don't substitute phony idle words or thoughts for the real truth in your life!
