Growing up with a narcissist sibling - a life of confusion

Imagine an average kid who has an older siblling who displays the tendancies of narcissim... The younger one has been tormented at times by the sibling's mental illness, and so the younger one learns to reject, and resent, any behaviors of that sort.
On the other hand, the older sibling is the primary source of 'cultural education' for the younger one - they learn how to deal with relationships [friends, family, teachers, etc] from the narcissist. Other behaviors are all influienced by the narcissist.
The younger one rejects the behaviors they have adopted. They disgust themselves this way. Low self-esteem comes from within this confusion. Self-loathing is evident.
I will stop there and let the experts add the details - but if you suspect one of your children is showing signs of narcissim, you must talk to your other children about it. As for the narcissist child, there is unfortunately very little advice on how to turn them around [about ADULT narcissists, experts say 'forget it, they won't change, you must protect yourself by getting far away from them" - that is very harsh, but not as harsh as the narcissist is].
One last thought - narcissism seems to be growing, it is very nearly an epidemic now. Why? - is it the Round Up in our food that is changing the brain? or Is it the microwaves that we are bathing in right now? Or, just for balance I have to consider that perhaps the advent of growing narcissism is part of some grand conspiracy to lay waste to the masses of average people.... [but no, we have global warming for that]
