Compare two large states noting how much of their attitude is different and opposing! Looking at both states over the past hundred years:

First, you see the flair and fancy freestyle of Calif - allowing whomever people to do ever they want whenever! However, you should notice the reasons for what they thought they wanted it.

This behavior by many has turned out to be worse than they expected, just look where it has led them!
High taxes, mass confusion, the massive number of illegal immigrants, high crime rates, plus some of the highest perversion in the nation or even much of the world!

Calif has become more of a separate - wild side of normal American life! Or a Liberal bastion which is infecting the rest of the Nation!

** Note: these observation are only part of the general population. Not held by every citizen!

- Then looking at Texas you see that it has been a major part of the American Dream based upon the idea of frontier free development, plus a major part the modern Southern style Conservative Americanism!

Built with most of the social values upon which the USA was built upon, over 250 years ago! Now this bastion of Conservatism is being attacked and being forced into the Liberal Mold of failure and ruin!

Why?

Because much of the modern Liberal World view is based upon saving everyone from everything that can affect their lives! Things like Safe-sex, freedom to do whatever you want, pressing for more drugs(dope) and any other outright ridiculous and anti-moral - provocative conduct!

Which the idea of freedom is God given - but when misused it, leads to erosion of and the destruction of the fabric of the (person) society, leading to worse social conditions and misery!
All in the name of freedom and so-called happiness!

For most people with out understanding the whole truth - it comes down to Liberal - socialist followers who seem hellbent on " Saving You (people) from themselves!

Just stop and read history and see how well that system of government has failed in all the societies and cultures where it was attempted!

The fallacy of lib-socialist government(s)is the control and manipulation of the general population! Domination of the general population - with a the few leaders controlling everything.
i.e. Communism or total anti free will or choices.

Which is the best way to live?

Living in a society where people are free to pursue their God-given beliefs and build better social structure! Not being dominated by a few self-centered Socialist - Communist. Taking the generally uneducated people sweeping up in a web of discrete! All along - driving people to believe that under the banner of Liberism this is better for you!

* Don't fall for the evil bait leading to your loss of freedom and choices - controlled by lies and domination!

We have a free will and a God Given intelligence with which to determine your best choices - not following the path of some marching " Liberal - Pied Piper " leading to total isolation and failure!
